Developmentally Appropriate Centers [CLOs: 1 & 3]. 1st Post Due by Day 3. Choose one of this week’s chapters to read in-depth, paying particular attention to the “Special Considerations for Infants and Toddlers.” Then, select one the following centers: Literacy, Manipulative/Sensory, Science, Dramatic Play, or Blocks/Building. In your post, describe the following:
1. How does this center support the growth and development of infants?
2. How does this center support the growth and development of toddlers?
3. How would you differentiate the center for each age group so that it is developmentally appropriate for
both infants and toddlers?
4. What are two to three specific activities/materials you would include?
